Template IDs are available for both Global/Project templates. To see template IDs click on any template ID from the Template pop-up on Issue View or Smart Checklist Project Settings.Appending a Project Template now is easier using automation rules. :

1. Navigate to Manage templates/Import from a template.

2. Click on any template to expand the details.

3. There will be ID field closer to the template name.

You can refer to this ID from the automation tool. That makes appending a Project Template easy.

To apply the checklist from the Project template need to copy the Project Template ID from Template list, which could be opened from Issue View or Project Settings, and use it in this pattern:

{{project.properties."com.railsware.SmartChecklist.templateId.<ID_FROM_PREVIOUS_STEP>"}}
