When the "Checklists" custom field is added properly and assigned to the necessary project screens - checklist content will be cloned upon the "Clone" procedure from Jira Issue.

Navigate to the Issue you want to clone → click 3-dots menu.
Choose Clone from the menu:

The pop up with cloning options will appear → click Clone:
You’ll receive the notification about success cloning with the link to the cloned Issue:
