Starting from version 6.3.0 it becomes possible to receive notifications on any changes/updates made for the Smart Checklist applied to the issues. |
A new section "Notify on checklist update" is added to the Global Settings. It is disabled by default and users do not receive email notifications for any actions with a checklist.
Navigate to Settings → Manage apps → Smart Checklist Settings.
Navigate to the “Global Settings” tab.
Turn on the “Notify on checklist update” toggle:

Navigate to the “Global Settings” tab.
Turn off the “Notify on checklist update” toggle:
Once the feature is enabled based on the configured Notifications schema (for Issue Update event) users will receive notifications for the actions from the list below.
List of supported actions to receive notifications:
add/edit/delete checklist items in quick view and full-screen
change the status of checklist items
reorder checklist items
import a template
add/edit/delete details
convert to Jira issue
clear checklist
You could configure per project who will receive notifications on checklist updates. |
Follow the steps below to configure:
Navigate to Project > Project Settings
Select Notifications on the left
Click Actions > Edit Notifications - if you want to change
Add/Delete anyone you need for Issue Update
If you want to reduce the number of emails received for every checklist update it is possible to configure batch emails on the server instance.

It will collect all the updates made to the checklist for a selected period of time and send it in one email.
