Add notification on Smart Checklist update

Starting from version 6.3.0 it becomes possible to receive notifications on any changes/updates made for the Smart Checklist applied to the issues.

A new section "Notify on checklist update" is added to the Global Settings. It is disabled by default.

To enable the feature in Global Settings - please follow the next steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Manage apps → Smart Checklist Settings.

  2. Navigate to the “Global Settings” tab.

  3. Turn on the “Notify on checklist update” toggle:

Supported actions to receive notifications:

  • add/edit/delete checklist items in quick view and full-screen

  • change the status of checklist items

  • reorder checklist items

  • import a template

  • add/edit/delete details

  • convert to Jira issue

  • clear checklist

You could configure per project who will receive notifications on checklist updates.

Follow the steps below to configure:

  1. Navigate to Project > Project Settings

  2. Select Notifications on the left

  3. Click Actions > Edit Notifications - if you want to change

  4. Add/Delete anyone you need for Issue Update

Checklist content markup in the email is almost the same as it is displayed in Checklists custom field:

 

Railsware Products Studio Inc. has been converted to Railsware Products Studio LLC

The vendor name of the Smart Checklist for Jira. Pro app will be changed to Railsware Products Studio LLC.

Added support of non-ASCII characters in checklist assignee

You could use non-ASCII characters (like Cyrillic/Arabic/Latin/Chinese) in assigned users.

Here is an example for each character from the list:

Checklist update for Issue menu

When switching between issues using the Issues menu (as shown in the screenshot below) and making some changes to the Smart Checklist applied to the issues the Smart Checklist panel will be refreshed automatically without having to manually reload the page.
