If your checklist item is worth a separate Jira Issue, have this arranged in a few clicks using the Smart Checklist functionality šŸš€

If you use Jira permissions: grant users Edit issues (for Company-managed projects) and
Member or Administrator permission (for Team-managed projects) to convert checklist item to Jira issue

If you use Smart Checklist permissions: grant users Manage Smart Checklist Items permission to convert checklist item to Jira issue

Convert checklist item to Jira issue:

  1. Press 3 dots on the right from the item status and select ā€œConvert to Jira issueā€:

2. Create Issue screen will pop up. Add the necessary details:
