If you convert the checklist item to the Jira issue, Smart Checklist will pre-fill some fields for you:

Description - will copy text from checklist item details (if you have them)
Components - will copy components from the source issue (if it has ones)
Issue - will be linked with the source issue key
LinkToEpic - will be linked to the epic if you convert the checklist item from the epic

3. After you hit “Create“, a link to the newly created issue will be added to your checklist item with the 'done' state applied:
