Overview
Use checklist Templates to streamline your work with repeatable tasks and processes!
Learn how to work with templates
Using Templates you can
Set a default checklist per all or specific Issue Types
Set a template visibility scope per Project or Globally
Set up an automatic import of a template upon creation of a new issue of the specific type
Example
there is a project with a master ticket called “Onboarding”. Every new onboarding ticket has a default onboarding checklist that goes with it. The checklist contains a detailed list of tasks for all team members involved. Once all items are completed, the ticket can be closed.
In such a manner, the onboarding procedure for an employee will finish once all pre-defined by the process services are delivered successfully and in full.
Template types
With the release of Smart Checklist version 5.3.0 we introduce Project and Global Templates
Global Templates
are those created and managed by Site Admins, may be visible and shared across projectsProject Templates
could also be created and managed by Project admins and shared within Single Project Only
The Global Template might be converted to Project Template by specifying project visibility scope by Site Admin and vice versa: Project Template might become Global one.
