Details about Smart Productivity Dashboard features

Short summary of the metrics:

Metrics highlights:

JIRA ACTIVITY - sum of number of tickets closed by the team mate(where they were an assignee, done means done status category) and number of tickets created by them(as creator, not reporter)

CONFLUENCE ACTIVITY - sum of number of pages created and number of pages edited

GITHUB ACTIVITY - lines of code added through Github commit divided by 1000

Percentage with color coding - comparison to the previous time period of the same duration as the selected one (e.g. if you select March-15 to April-15 the comparison will be calculated against Feb-15 to March-15)

Table:

Jira Activity - sum of number of tickets closed by the team mate(where they were an assignee) and number of tickets created by them

Confluence Activity- sum of number of pages created and number of pages edited

GitHub Activity - lines of code added through Github commit divided by 1000

Total - sum of Jira Activity, Confluence Activity, GitHub Activity

Team median - when you setup a team, the app will calculate the median value of Total based on data from all the team members

% of median - comparison of the team member's Total against Team median . The higher the percentage, the better the performance is.

X axis shows files created

Y axis shows edits in files

Team mates closer to the right upper corner create more files and make more edits than everyone else

GitHub activity

X axis shows number of commits

Y axis shows lines of code added

Team mates closer to the right upper corner make more commits with more lines of code

Scope table:

Issues in Backlog - issues in Backlog assigned to team mate at the moment

Issues in Progress - issues In Progress assigned to team mate at the moment

Issues Done - Issues that changed their status to a status from Done category during the selected time period

Issues created & actions:

Issues created- number of Jira issues created

Actions - sum of these events in Jira:

  • Issue: created, updated, deleted(for new data only)

  • Comment: created, updated(for new data only), deleted(for new data only)
