How to Upgrade from Free to Pro Plan

☝🏼IMPORTANT NOTE: To upgrade from Free to Pro Plan, you need to install the Connect version of Smart Checklist Pro using a direct link.

All your data i.e. created checklists or templates are safe and will not be removed. They are stored on your Jira instance.

Detailed process

Steps to Upgrade:

  1. Enable Private Listings and Development Mode:

    • Go to Jira Settings → Apps → Manage Apps.

    • Scroll down to the Settings section.

    • Enable both checkboxes:
      ✅ Enable private listings
      ✅ Enable development mode

    • Confirm the changes and refresh the Manage Apps page.

  2. Install the Connect Version of Smart Checklist Pro:

    • In Manage Apps, click Upload app.
      Enter the following URL:
      🔗 https://pro.jirachecklist.com/atlassian-connect.json

  3. Click Upload and confirm the installation.

  4. Uninstall the Free Version of Smart Checklist

☝🏼 What’s Next?

Once you've installed the Smart Checklist Pro (Connect) version, you have two options:

1. Continue using the Smart Checklist Pro (Connect) version as is.
2. Upgrade to the Forge version by installing Smart Checklist Pro from the Atlassian Marketplace.

  • After installation, the Forge version will automatically import your checklist data from the Connect Pro version.

  • The import process might take some time, depending on the number of checklists.
