Use Smart Checklist Templates in Jira Automation and Third party apps (like ScriptRunner for Jira, JMWE) by referring to them by their IDs 🚀

Template IDs

Each template has its ID displayed in the template list. Use it to operate with Smart Checklist Template in Jira Automation tools ⚡️

You can find the Template ID from the Issue view in the Template pop-up or from Global Settings.

To get Template ID from Issue view:

  1. Open any Issue with the Smart Checklist applied.

  2. Click on the 3-dots menu.

  3. Select Manage Templates/Import from a Template.

  4. Navigate to Project Templates or Global Templates tab.

  5. Expand the template you are looking for.

  6. Template ID field is on the right of the template name.

To get template ID from Global Settings:

  1. Navigate to Jira Administration → Manage apps → Smart Checklist Settings → Templates tab.

  2. Find and expand the template you are looking for.

  3. Template ID field is on the right of the template name.
