Global Templates

Global Templates

Easily share your Templates across multiple projects, ensuring consistency and efficiency in your workflows with the new Global Templates feature! 🌟

Overview

Global Templates enable you to share issue templates across multiple Jira projects, ensuring consistency and reducing duplication of effort.

You can now share templates:

  • With specific individual projects

  • With all projects (including newly created ones)

  • With projects grouped by Project Categories (including newly added to the category)

Sharing via project categories makes it easier to manage access at scale without selecting projects one by one.

Steps to Share a Template

  1. Open the template for editing.

2. Go to the Projects tab to manage sharing options.
