Default Jira Permissions for Smart Checklist
By default, Smart Checklist aligns with global Jira permissions as follows:
Browse Projects Permission: Users can view issues and access Smart Checklist content, they cannot modify the checklists.
Edit Issue Permission: Users can edit checklists, including marking items as done or undone, modifying item content, and adding or deleting items.
Administer Projects Permission: Users can create and modify templates, as well as set them as defaults. Appropriate permissions can be assigned through Project Settings → Users and Roles → Add Users to a Role.
☝🏼NOTE: You can enable Custom Permissions to View and Work with Smart Checklist starting from Smart Checklist v6.4.1. See how to Set-up Custom Permissions .
☝🏼NOTE: Project Admin has all defined accesses in case he has "Browse Projects" permissions for custom permissions disabled and, in addition, "View Smart Checklist" for custom permissions enabled.
Site Admin has the same permissions as Project Admin.
